I received this answer from God in a Divine Writing Communion, after asking God about “salvation”—what it means and how to attain it. The impetus for my question was that I was raised in the Christian faith, and “salvation” is of course a topic of central importance. At the same time, whether it is called “salvation” or something else, individuals of many faiths—or none—have examined the question of how human beings will reach a higher level of maturity in order to establish peace in the world.

I realize of course, that this is a controversial topic. Still, the answer below seems right to me, so I decided to share it. On a personal level, the words below speak to me in quite indescribable ways.

“No one can stop me from communicating with each and every human being. No one can stop me from whispering words of love to their souls, or embracing them continuously. No one can say that any individual is unworthy to be loved by me, or doesn’t have the ability to hear me and feel my loving presence.

Mysticism is defined as “a direct, intimate union of the soul with God.” No one can come between me and each person in that mystical union. To do so is a violation of the sacred right of every individual to live in my embrace of love.

We can see evidence of my loving personality everywhere, running throughout creation and imbued in the hope of love in family relationships. If one accepts that I created everything in the natural world, without exception, then it means that I created love, souls, ideas, dreams, personalities, beauty, sacred sexuality, and everything that is truly important to human happiness.

Yes, humans have forgotten my presence of love and have lived in terribly warped ways. Still, no human can destroy his or her own soul, just as they cannot destroy the souls of others. The core soul of love in every human is permanent.

Look at the function of love for others. One could say that one is “saved,” and not love anyone. Another could never even wonder if they are saved, but love in the most sacred and beautiful fashion. Who is closer to salvation?

Salvation, if one needed to define it, could be stated as the return to the complete and mature resonance of love with the mystical indwelling God. It’s an incremental path that expands in enthusiasm as one grows in resonance with the enveloping presence of God. It is important to remember, however, that I am already completely present with every child, and woman, and man. It is the human task to awaken to a complete awareness of my presence and love.

No one needs to “travel toward God.” I am already inextricably embedded in every particle and cell and thought and feeling of every human. Don’t travel toward God. That implies that I am far away, which is not true at all.

Instead, simply open your eyes and all of your senses to the presence of the God who embraces you as you mew in confusion, wondering where God is, as if you were a blind little puppy that could not feel the embrace of its owner.

Salvation is the process of awakening, the process of embracing the indwelling God of love and breathing in resonance forever.”
