A Kiss is the Door to HeavenSep 18, 2001 Two beings, if separate in thought, harassed in a moment by nothing at all, Live apart without trying. Friends, mates, partners -- lovers, sharing eggs and toast forever, Are more than tenants, paying a common rent. Casual awareness, window shopping in front rooms of feelings, Leaves one bland because of ignorance. Two beings is a phrase to be supplanted By a oneness subatomic in passion. Merging love at the cellular level Can't happen with a yawn. The explosion of spherical love needs a spark, A pilot light and a compass. A kiss, a communion of giving Repeated endlessly, is the door to heaven. Peter Falkenberg Brown is passionate about writing, publishing, public speaking and film. He hopes that someday he can live up to one of his favorite mottos: “Expressing God’s kind and compassionate love in all directions, every second of every day, creates an infinitely expanding sphere of heart.”
