Green Leaves and RubiesMay 12, 2012 In the center of the most beautiful place in the world there nods a tree of unknown measure. How tall; how far; how wide its branches reach... Staring upward, one is lost; each thought becomes a leaf that curls upon a thought and rests at last, unworried. Its trunk caresses every visitor; smooth skin expanding, curving, laughing; wider than the longest arms, inviting all its guests to climb; to melt against the softness of its bark; to breathe. It is a patient tree. Always waiting, arms outstretched; green leaves emitting an atmosphere that captures, lifts, embraces... None have left this tree despondent. Some dance. Some murmur; smiling. Many wonder; opening their hands; fascinated by the surprising appearance of rubies. Everyone comes back.
